Im a PC man. Mainly because thats what ive always used and dont want to change over to Mac, and really i just dont like Macs very much. Logic is a sack of nuts. Pro-tools doesnt have enough midi support.
I use an old school program they dont make anymore called Muzys(its now abandon-ware, and almost impossible to find) to sequence and do midi programming. Its proper old-school, but nothing beats it for midi-sequencing and programming drums with Battery 2. And for mixing/mastering i use Sonar 6 producer edition. I mix down all of the individual tracks from Muzys then whack them into Sonar tracks where i do editing etc. Its a long process but it seems to get good results in terms of sound quality. In terms of virtual instruments etc i use a whole galaxy of different ones, some free, some not so free. My favourite has to be Battery 2 (i dont like battery 3) for the drum programming escapades im so fond of.
So what do you use? (Xihilisk glances around in the hope someone might actually reply.....)
